Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Defrost frozen puff pastry.
Cut pastry sheet in half. Rewrap other half sheet of puff
pastry and refreeze. Take 1/2 sheet of puff pastry and
roll out on floured surface to 1.8 inch thickness.
Place brie in center and fold over one angle to angle.
Then take another angle and fold over as if to begin to tie a bow.
Mix egg and water. Brush on top of brie. Place brie in an ovenproof plate.
Place brie in oven for 20-25 minutes. (Difference in ovens may vary heating times).
Let set for 5 - 10 minutes before serving. Serve as an appetizer with crackers.
Makes 2 to 4 servings.
