Apple Stuffing

 

4 cups cut and peeled baking apples
4 cups fresh bread crumbs
1 large onion, chopped
1 cup chopped celery
2 eggs
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
4 tablespoons butter or margarine

 

In a large saucepan melt butter. Add onions, celery and apples. Cook until tender, about 10 minutes. Mix in bread crumbs, 2 eggs, salt and seasoning.

Makes about 6 cups.
