Pineapple-Almond Slaw

 

2/3 cup sour cream
2/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon finely chopped onion
1/8 teaspoon salt
5 cups shredded cabbage
2 cups shredded carrot (about 4 carrots)
1 pineapple cut in small pieces
1 (2-ounce) package slivered almonds, toasted

 

Combine first 6 ingredients in a small bowl set aside. Combine cabbage and remaining ingredients in a large bowl add sour cream mixture, to
tossing well. Cover and chill thoroughly. Yield: 8 to 10 servings.
