Below are directions on how to handle a frozen pie. Instructions include how to freeze and thaw various Delicious Orchards pies.

Fruit Pies

TO FREEZE A BAKED FRUIT PIE
  1. Remove Pie from Box.
  2. Place Pie in plastic bag.
  3. Place Pie in freezer.
TO THAW A FROZEN BAKED FRUIT PIE
  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Remove Pie from plastic bag.
  3. Place frozen baked fruit pie in Preheated oven.
    Heat for 25 - 30 minutes or until soft when a fork is inserted in center of pie.

Crumb Pies

TO FREEZE A BAKED CRUMB PIE
  1. Remove Pie from Box.
  2. Place Pie in plastic bag.
  3. Place Pie in freezer.
TO THAW A FROZEN BAKED CRUMB PIE
  1. Thaw overnight in Refrigerator (leave Pie in plastic bag)
  2. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  3. Place Crumb Pie in Preheated oven for 20 min.

Pumpkin Pie

TO FREEZE A BAKED PUMPKIN PIE
  1. Place Pumpkin Pie in freezer UNWRAPPED.
  2. Freeze solid.
  3. Wrap Pie in plastic bag and place immediately back in freezer.
TO THAW A FROZEN BAKED PUMPKIN PIE
Unwrap Pumpkin Pie and thaw at room temperature.
DO NOT HEAT PIE

Pecan Pie

TO FREEZE A BAKED PECAN PIE
  1. Remove Pie from Box.
  2. Place Pie in plastic bag.
  3. Place Pie in freezer.
TO THAW A FROZEN BAKED PECAN PIE
Remove from bag and thaw at room temperature.

Unbaked Frozen Apple Pie

To bake an UNBAKED Frozen Apple Pie
KEEP PIE FROZEN UNTIL READY TO BAKE!
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Remove pie from plastic bag.
  3. Place frozen unbaked apple pie on center rack of oven. Bake for 15 minutes at 425 degrees.
  4. Reduce heat to 375 degrees. Continue baking pie for 35 minutes longer. (until soft when a fork is inserted in center of pie)
  5. Remove pie from oven. Cool on wire rack.
